Obama Administration Shock, Awe and Anger…at U.S. General Stanley McChrystal

General McChrystal

In an article appearing in today’s Telegraph, advisors close to President Obama were said to be “shocked and angered” by a recent speech given by General Stanley McChrystal.

“The relationship between President Barack Obama and the commander of NATO forces in Afghanistan has been put under severe strain by Gen Stanley McChrystal’s comments on strategy for the war.

According to sources close to the administration, Gen McChrystal shocked and angered presidential advisers with the bluntness of a speech given in London last week.

The next day he was summoned to an awkward 25-minute face-to-face meeting on board Air Force One on the tarmac in Copenhagen, where the president had arrived to tout Chicago’s unsuccessful Olympic bid.”

One can only assume that General McChrystal is, at this point, not likely to be found joining with the Obama Youth song and praise sessions sweeping the nation’s state-controlled gradeschools.

Whatever one might think of this exchange, we can all be thankful that The One finally managed to squeeze in some face time with the general managing what Obama himself described during the presidential campaign as a conflict where victory is vital to the national security interests of the United States. While it is clear that, from Obama’s perspective, the Afghan war situation is not as important as was the Chicago bid to host the 2016 Olympics, at least it rated 25 minutes of focus.

    BWAHAHAHA!
Well. today is a great day. Obama kicked General McChristian to the curb!

WHOOO HOOO. Anyone who covers up the murder of a soldier: Pat Tilman, then lies to congress ought to be in PRISON.

Anyone who publically disgraces his own Commander in chief ought to be HUNG for treason.

How DARE a subordinate insult his commander in chief – the democratically elected President of the united states. Elected by a MAJORITY OF THE US!

As for you christians? [Predictably clueless, classless anti-Christian language filtered out here] off. You pansies are so busy kneeling in front of invisible sky faeries while paying your hard earned cash to your con-men run church plates for God, Guns and Gays…it’s embarrassing.
