So let’s see here…
Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was known to oppose the American war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He made it clear that he viewed the American-led “war on terror” as a “war on Islam”.
He was a Muslim.
He liked to post at radical Islamic websites.
He agreed with much of what they had to say.
As an Army psychologist assigned the task of helping troubled American troops through dark and trying times, often in the wake of their participation of what Hasan viewed as a “war on Islam”, he would frequently attempt to take full advantage of their weakened, fragile state and convert them to Islam.
Over the last couple of weeks, he gave away most of his worldly possessions and handed out copies of the Koran.
Last Thursday, he opened fire on his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas.
He kicked off his murderous rampage with loud proclamations of “Allahu Akbar!” (Meaning “God is great!” in the preferred language of “the religion of peace” known as Islam.)
At the end of the day, he had left 13 dead, 29 wounded, and a State controlled media in full-blown crazy mode.
Even now, they struggle not to connect any of the dots surrounding the Hasan/non-terrorism story. They do this while looking for new dots that they imagine must exist out there somewhere.
And while they scurry and spin, Barack Hussein Obama, in between shout-outs to pals, tells us not to “jump to conclusions”.
The last thing we’d want to do is conclude that an anti-American war effort activist, “Allahu Akbar!” shouting, Koran dispensing, radical Muslim who opened fire on American troops preparing to wage what he perceived as a “war on Islam” might just be…an Islamic terrorist.
How crazy would that be?
The last thing we want to do is accurately identify an enemy.
Apparently “don’t ask, don’t tell” isn’t just for homosexuals anymore.
