Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was known to oppose the American war efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He made it clear that he viewed the American-led “war on terror” as a “war on Islam”.
He was a Muslim.
He liked to post at radical Islamic websites.
He agreed with much of what they had to say.
